DVD Printing
When hand writing a label on the CD with a felt tip marker just doesn't
provide that professional look you need, we have the solutions...
There are 4 different printing options for DVDs:
- Thermal Printing
This option is for DVD-R printing and provides crisp and clean looking black
text and graphics on the shiny silver surface of the DVD. This is probably
the most used printing option for DVD-Rs. It is a fast and economical print
solution.
- Ink-Jet Printing
This option is for DVD-R printing and provides a full color label printed
on a white DVD. The special printers used for this process print the label
at 1200 dpi providing a remarkable detailed label with brilliant color.
The quality of print rivals that of a screen printed DVD.
- Screen Printing
This option is available for DVD-Rs and our factory stamped DVDs. Screen
printing is still the most popular option for DVDs and is the process used
on many of the DVDs that are available in retail stores. DVDs can be printed
in 5 colors using our screen printing equipment.
- Off-Set Printing
This option is only available for DVDs. This is the same process used to
print on paper goods such as books, magazines, posters, etc. Many of the
DVD movies in retail store are printed using this method. It provides a
little better definition in the print quality than screen printing.
